1. It's noon and it's 73 degrees.
2. Laconia is called The Land of the Lakes - I think I would really enjoy telling people that I'm from The Land of the Lakes.
3. It's beyond beautiful here.
4. The shelter is FABULOUS.
5. Did I mention that it's only 73 degrees??
God I wish I were the type to just pick up and move - I think Laconia could grow on me.

Don't forget, it's the peak of summer and it's 73 degrees. Just image what winter will bring!
Visit Laconia Notch State Park the next time you are up there if you deliver to this shelter again. It is maybe 45 mis to an hour away from the shelter but it is beautiful and has lots of hiking trails and things to see. Small town though and eveything closes before dark, so if you stay in the state park in a hotel or something eat early or you will have to go a few exits up to another town to eat!!
Kristi my account seems to still be under the Vulcan Park name. It is coming from me if you see that!!
