My dad and I drove to Athens, AL on Good Friday to pull this sweet gal - Cena. A 2yo Lab and I'd agreed to hold her for two weeks until she was eligible for transport. Cena was an owner surrender at a high-kill (understatement) shelter - her family moved and, for whatever reason, Cena was left behind. She could NOT be a sweeter girl! 71lbs of kisses and wiggles - even Brandon fell for her!
Cena was adopted thru Labs4Rescue out of CT and boarded her transport last night to meet her new family! They'll be picking her up Saturday morning and I can't wait to hear what they think of her.
We'll miss you Cena - you're one lucky dog!!
